Appointment Policy
We are also available for emergency appointments, both at the clinic and for house or farm calls. If you are having an emergency, please do try to call as soon as possible, even if it is in the car while you are on your way here.
Please note that clients are not permitted to be present during surgical procedures. This policy helps us maintain a safe, sterile, and focused surgical environment for your pet’s care.
Arrival/Waiting Room Policy
We ask that all animals are restrained when waiting for their appointment in our lobby. For dogs, this typically means they are leashed. Cats, smaller dogs, and exotic animals are typically crated.
No matter how well trained or well-behaved, we find that this policy is in the best interest of safety for all parties.
Payment Methods
All payment is expected in full at check-out. To help you plan, our reception staff is always happy to provide a cost estimate. But, please understand that estimates do not always reflect final cost.
We accept cash, checks, debit, and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), Scratchpay, CareCredit®, and some pet insurance plans. If you decide to use pet insurance, be sure to contact your insurer if you are unsure about their specific policies.
Written prescriptions can also be provided for clients who choose to use a third-party pharmacy.
Prescription Refills
At Wewoka, we bring you a fully stocked pharmacy for all of our amazing patients. You can always count on us to provide you with the best service both during and after your visit. Whether you need antibiotics, flea and tick preventative, or a topical prescription, we’ve got you covered. We even send out reminders to help you remember any upcoming refills! If you ever have any questions, be sure to contact us via phone or email right away.
For the safety and health of your pet, an annual exam is required before refilling prescription medications.
